The Ashbourne Shrovetide Football game will take place this year on Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th March 2025, between 14.00hrs and 22.00hrs.

By the very nature of this unpredictable game, roads at any point in the town can be closed off for an indefinite period during the match. Whilst we will endeavour to operate to/from the bus station this may not be possible as we are unable to plan for any diversion during the game and therefore some services may have to terminate before reaching the bus station and may also have to restart their return journeys from a point away from the bus station.

- 13:10 from Buxton, arriving at Ashbourne at 13:55*
- 14:20 from Buxton, arriving at Ashbourne at 15:35
- 15:20 from Buxton, arriving at Ashbourne at 16:55
- 17:35 from Buxton, arriving at Ashbourne at 18:50
- 14:00 from Ashbourne, arriving at Buxton at 15:15*
- 16:05 from Ashbourne, arriving in Buxton at 17:20
- 17:05 from Ashbourne, arriving in Buxton at 18:20

*The 13.10hrs 442 service from Buxton will terminate at Union Street and the 14.00hrs 442 service to Buxton will depart from Union Street, which is just off the Market Place.
